Understanding and modeling finger vascular pattern imaging

چکیده
In this paper, new insights in the near infrared imaging process used finger-vein recognition by developing a physical model are presented. A realistic phantom finger that mimics living human and also includes veins has been developed to validate model. NIR images show can emulate optical properties of provide ground truth for locations veins. Through modeling, it is particularly learned that—besides blood soft tissue—bone plays an important role generating reliable images.
